According to reports, the Grammy-winning artist released this album in honor of his mother, who passed away, early on November 22, 2024.
The 16-track album includes collaborations with well-known musicians like YBNL’s Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, and Brent Faiyaz. Notably, the legendary K1 De Ultimate opens one of the songs.
On social media, a large number of Nigerians and some friends of celebrities shared their thoughts about Wizkid’s Morayo album.
In a brief post on X, a BBNaija season 7 competitor claimed that he tried to listen to the music but ultimately dozed off.

Kess stated that he thinks the song would eventually win him over after facing criticism.
