Rapper Cardi B has denied being paid to appear at US Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Wisconsin, where she endorsed the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.
Cardi B reportedly spoke at Harris’ event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, where she previously endorsed the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for this month’s election.
There were rumors that she was compensated for her appearance at the event.
Cardi denied accepting any monetary payment for her appearance at Harris’ rally, responding to the rumors on her X Twitter.
“I received no monetary compensation for this…”I have been discussing these things for free on my platforms for the past few years!! “Before I became a celebrity, I was a product of poverty for 24 years, so you are not going to tell me what I want to see in my community,” she wrote.
