Daniel Regha, a social media personality, has said that the Dangote Refinery should only charge N300 for its fuel.
On Sunday, he posted a statement on his verified X account expressing this viewpoint.
The announcement that the Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of its fuel to N970 prompted Regha’s remarks.
He underlined that in order for the refinery to thank Nigerians for their support, this price cut is necessary.
Additionally, he said that selling fuel for N970 does not change the problem and rather serves to confirm the idea that the refinery’s main goal is to make money.
Daniel said, “If Dangote Refinery wants to repay or thank Nigerians for their support, they should lower their petroleum price to N300 at most. N970 per litre is on the high side, literally does nothing, and shows that it’s all about making profit.”
