She disclosed that she nearly turned down Omoni Oboli’s offer to star in “Uprising,” but she finally accepted the role.

“I have been inundated with screenplays, film roles, and tantalizing offers for the last two years, but I turned them all down,” May Edochie said.

May Edochie said, “I’m a master of all trades, and there’s a whole lot I can do if I put my mind to it,” in reference to her versatility.
