He recently discussed his ideas for his next creative moves in an interview at the Kunle Afolayan Productions (KAP) Film and Television Academy.

He recently discussed his ideas for his next creative moves in an interview at the Kunle Afolayan Productions (KAP) Film and Television Academy.
Since he had his own KAP Film Village, which he likened to upscale hotels in other parts of Africa, he claimed that he has no new emphasis.
He stated:
“Have you seen KAP Village? There’s no use in calling. You won’t return to Lagos once you’re there. KAP Village occupies 60 acres of land, has 70 rooms, a hotel similar to those in South Africa or Kenya, and eventually the school’s main office will be located there as it’s a popular destination and a large area for practicals. All I want to do is help people grow, build others, have a greater effect, and keep telling stories; I’m not seeking for anything else.
In the interview, Kunle Afolayan stated that being loyal to himself and maintaining consistency are the keys to his success. His accomplishments, in his opinion, demonstrate that he is headed in the right direction.
In his own words:
“I’ve remained loyal to myself and constant, which is my secret. I will state that I don’t like what I dislike. I will continue to claim that I don’t like it and I won’t do it, just as I did twenty years ago. I must be doing something right if I have accomplished this much. I can’t say for sure, but I’ve remained loyal to my art, craft, and philosophy, and it’s really straightforward. Business is one thing, but after watching my film, you won’t say, “He compromised here because he’s doing business.” Instead, I’ll go above and beyond to ensure that, even if you’re viewing it from a product perspective, it’s a product with a brand. I’m not the only filmmaker in Nigeria, but if you’re fortunate enough to start something and you progress from one step to the next, it means you’re headed in the right direction.
