Alaga360: Good day, Prince Lanre Sanusi. Recently, we’ve seen you actively engaging with the people of Amuwo Odofin LGA. How has the reception been so far?
Prince Lanre Sanusi: Thank you very much. Honestly, I am truly excited by the warm reception I have received from the residents of Amuwo Odofin LGA. I deeply enjoy interacting with our people — they are full of valuable knowledge and insights, which will certainly help shape the path to a successful and inclusive administration.
Alaga360: We have noticed you visiting different communities. Can you tell us more about these visits?
PLS: Yes, I have deliberately taken the time to visit most of our ethnic and sub-ethnic groups, artisans, and various resident associations. My goal is to understand their unique needs and aspirations. I share in their vision for a better Amuwo Odofin, and I assure everyone that their input will not be ignored in our drive to create a sustainable growth plan for our LGA.
Alaga360: You recently visited the Community 2 Festac Town Residents Association. How was that experience?
PLS: It was quite engaging and very insightful. The residents shared their concerns and hopes candidly, and this has strengthened my commitment to ensure that their needs are genuinely addressed.
Alaga360: What role do you see for youths and women in your vision for Amuwo Odofin?
PLS: I am using this opportunity to call on our vibrant youths and industrious women to collaborate with me. Festac Town is our village, our heritage. Together, we must do everything possible to make Amuwo Odofin LGA shine brightly among the committee of local governments. Their partnership is key to our success.
Alaga360: Finally, what is your message to the electorate as the election draws near?
PLS: My humble appeal to all eligible voters is to come out en masse on 12th July 2025 and vote for the APC, both for councillorship and chairmanship positions. Your votes are the vehicle that will take us to the promised land we all desire.
I am campaigning in every nook and cranny of Amuwo Odofin LGA. I look forward to seeing our people because I believe in the power of your vote. Please, vote for Prince Lanre Sanusi as your Chairman — I promise you, I will not disappoint you.
