Prince Lanre Sanusi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, was warmly received at a Special Prayer Session organized by the League of Chief Imams and Islamic Mothers.
The event, held in Amuwo Odofin, was marked by fervent prayers and a show of solidarity from the Muslim community. In his address, Prince Sanusi began by giving thanks to Almighty Allah for His mercies and for the rare privilege of emerging as the APC candidate. “Alhamdulillah is the song I will continue to sing. Almighty Allah has been good to me,” he declared with emotion.
The President of the Amuwo Odofin Muslim Community, in his remarks, assured the gathering of the community’s readiness to work and vote en masse for Prince Lanre Sanusi on the 12th of July, 2025.
Prince Sanusi used the occasion to welcome and acknowledge the presence of notable APC party leaders, including Alhaja Memunat Ajao, Apex Leader; Apostle Ayodele Ogungbiye; and other distinguished stakeholders. He also expressed deep appreciation to the Muslim community for their consistent prayers and unwavering support.
“My eyes are on the ball,” he said. “The dividends of democracy will be my way of giving back for the immense love and support shown to me by our Chief Imams, Imams, Alfas, and the entire community.”
In a heartfelt appeal, Prince Sanusi commended the Islamic Mothers for their steadfastness and urged them to rally their children in support of his candidacy ahead of the upcoming Chairmanship Election.
