During one of his performances, Nigerian musician and entertainer Speed Darlington, better known by his stage as “AKPI,” was arrested by Owerri police once more.
Deji Adeyanju, the singer’s human rights attorney and counsel, verified the news on his official X page on Wednesday.
“The Nigeria Police in Owerri have arrested our client, Speed Darlington, also known as AKPI, at his show upon his return to Nigeria,” he said.
Due to accusations of cyberstalking and slander against Burna Boy, the musician was previously placed under custody.

Speed Darlington’s remarks regarding Burna Boy’s Grammy victory for the album Twice as Tall, which was executive-produced by Sean “Diddy” Combs, sparked the dispute.
Darlington was detained when he made accusations that implied improper behavior between Burna Boy and Diddy, which prompted a formal complaint.
Speed Darlington’s mother then filmed a viral video appealing for Burna Boy to forgive him.It’s interesting to note that the artist kept making offensive comments against Burna Boy after being freed.
Still unknown, though, is the cause of the singer’s second arrest.
