A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ladan Salihu, has described the court cases against the ADC as avenue to ambush it and create a one-way traffic for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in 2027 general elections.
He said this on Friday during a live interview on Channels Television’s programme ‘Politics Today’.
He was talking about the leadership crisis in the party before the 2027 elections.
He said they have his signature on the resignation letter, adding that Nafiu Bala Gombe has resigned from his position in the party.
“This case is closed. It is all in a trap to ambush the ADC and to make sure that a pathway is created for the APC and the presidential candidate to have a one way traffic to 2027.
“Our legal team is all over this. The fact remains that Nafiu Gombe resigned. “We have his papers, we have his signatures, we have everything and this guy is a willing tool in the hands of the APC and the government,” said Salihu.
