A former federal lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has expressed optimism that Nigeria would witness a positive rebirth through the 2027 general elections.
This was contained in a terse post on the official facebook page of Dino, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
In the next election, the country will survive the alleged maladministration of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by President Bola Tinubu, he said.
He urged Nigerians to get on board the train to what he described as a new Nigeria.
“Nigeria will outlive APC. A new Nigeria is on the way. “Join the New Nigeria train”, the ex-lawmaker wrote.
Dino Melaye was said to be a loyalist of the ADC frontline presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar.
Though the leaders of the opposition in the defunct coalition have fallen apart, they both feel a new Nigeria is achievable in 2027.
