4. Not less than two members of the bandits’ gang terrorising residents of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT have been shot dead. CP Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi, FCT Commissioner of Police, who disclosed this to newsmen at the command on Wednesday, said he led the operation that led to their deaths.
5. The people of Iluke community in Bunu District of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State have called on the government to quickly intervene following an attack that claimed three lives, including a vice principal, by armed assailants. The attack, which took place in the early hours of Wednesday, has plunged the community into mourning and raised security concerns in the area.
6. The Federal Government has ordered for an investigation into how an aircraft landed and also took off on a highway in Ogwashi-Uku area near Asaba, the Delta State capital on Wednesday. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN) disclosed this in a post on X (Twitter).
7. Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri has ordered political office holders who refused to defect to the All Progressive Congress to resign or be sacked.
