The Ajimobi family is in mourning again with the death of Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi, younger brother of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
He was believed to be 67 years old.
Teslim Ajimobi died in London on Thursday, six years after his elder brother Abiola Ajimobi died in 2020, BBC reports.
His death is another blow for the family which has been hit by several deaths in recent years, including one of the former governor’s daughters.
The cause of his death was not released as of press time.
The family had also not issued an official statement announcing the development.
Before his death, Teslim Ajimobi was a politician and business man.
He was the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area of Oyo State in 2017 where he was involved in grassroots administration and community affairs.
Outside politics, he was involved in business in Nigeria and overseas.
He had interests in a number of ventures and held leadership roles in private companies, including Teslis Global Services Ltd of London.
Family members, friends and associates are said to be saddened by the news, remembering him for his relationships with people and his participation in public and business life.
