I Was Offered N500m, $200k To Sleep With A Man – BBNaija’s Cross

Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, has defended fellow reality TV star Whitemoney following an online controversy involving an alleged romantic advance from a man.

Cross, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, also claimed that he had received offers of N500 million and $200,000 from men who allegedly wanted to have sex with him.

Whitemoney recently spoke about an unsolicited direct message he received from a man on social media. The message reportedly addressed him as “papi” and expressed interest in him.

Following the disclosure, Cross took to X to support Whitemoney and challenge assumptions being made about the reality star.

He argued that a man can display feminine characteristics without that necessarily determining his sexual orientation.

Cross said personality, appearance and mannerisms should not be used as automatic indicators of whether someone is attracted to men or women.

He went on to share his own alleged experience, claiming that men had offered him significant amounts of money for sex.

According to him, he rejected an offer of N500 million as well as another worth $200,000.

Cross said his upbringing played an important role in his decision, explaining that his mother taught him not to allow money or material possessions to influence his values.

He further criticised people who allegedly send inappropriate messages to others through their social media accounts.

The reality star suggested that he could also reveal some of the messages he has allegedly received if he chose to make his private conversations public.

Cross’s intervention has added to the debate over Whitemoney’s experience and the boundaries that should apply to unsolicited social media advances.

He maintained that people should be careful about making assumptions about others based on how they dress, behave or express themselves.
