Ex-Housemate Abi Opens Up on Challenges of Working With Male Colleagues After Marriage

Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 contestant Abisola Ayoola has shared details about her experience on the reality show, saying her time in the house taught her valuable lessons about relationships and personal boundaries.

Abi was evicted alongside Araga during the Sunday double eviction after spending seven weeks in the competition.

Speaking with Punch following her exit, the former housemate revealed that one of her major challenges was navigating relationships with male contestants while remaining mindful of her status as a married woman.

She explained that some male housemates initially seemed uncomfortable about getting close to her because they knew she was married.

According to Abi, that initial hesitation made forming relationships more difficult, but she eventually became more comfortable and was able to connect with some of the male contestants.

She described the experience as emotionally demanding, saying the environment inside the house was intense and presented several challenges.

“The hardest part for me was being a married woman in the house and trying to navigate connections with the male housemates,” Abi said.

She explained that she initially felt some of the men were deliberately keeping their distance because of her marital status. However, she said she eventually moved beyond the situation.

Abi also revealed that she intends to explore opportunities outside entertainment following her eviction. She said she is considering business ventures, including opening a bakery and starting a bikini line.

Reflecting on her time on the show, Abi said the emotional nature of the experience made it challenging but also helped her learn more about herself and how she relates with others.

Her comments come after her seven-week stay on the reality programme.
