Toyin Abraham’s Alleged Conversation About Akindele, Iyabo Ojo Sparks Debate

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has become the subject of online debate after an alleged leaked audio conversation reportedly captured her laughing during negative comments about fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.

The 12-minute recording, said to have been released by blogger Mama Esabod, features Abraham speaking with a TikTok fan identified as Bisgold.

According to accounts of the audio, Bisgold repeatedly insulted Akindele during the conversation, which was conducted mainly in Yoruba and Pidgin English. Abraham allegedly responded by laughing instead of reprimanding the fan.

Iyabo Ojo was also discussed, with Bisgold reportedly claiming that the actress had not moved on from a previous incident. Abraham allegedly laughed and agreed with the observation.

The recording has attracted criticism from social media users, some of whom questioned the actress’s judgment and her approach to interacting with supporters.

WhoKnowsyezt criticised Abraham for appearing comfortable with the fan, while Fifi Efretuei said the actress needed to establish stronger boundaries.

Prince Ademola Salami also condemned Abraham’s alleged response and expressed a preference for Akindele.

Beyond the comments about the two actresses, Abraham reportedly discussed actors Itele and Kemity. She allegedly claimed that some people who publicly profess support for her use fake accounts to attack others.

She also described Kemity as a daughter figure.

The incident has sparked renewed conversations about celebrity relationships, private discussions and the impact of leaked recordings on public reputations.

While the audio has generated strong reactions, the complete context of the conversation and the authenticity of the recording remain relevant when assessing the claims made about Abraham.
