HUMILITY GLOWS AS MOSES OLAREWAJU JOINS AMUWO-ODOFIN SECURITY STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING

Humility glows when leadership chooses to listen.

Moses Olarewaju, APC Candidate for the House of Representatives, Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency, demonstrated quiet humility as he sat gently among community leaders, traditional rulers, security stakeholders and other distinguished participants at the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Security Stakeholders’ Meeting held on 10 September 2026.

The meeting brought together critical stakeholders committed to strengthening security and community safety across Amuwo-Odofin.

The Council Mayor welcomed participants and appreciated the community, particularly the Kabiyesis and traditional institutions, for their impressive turnout and continued support for peace and security.

The Commissioner of Police gave a detailed account of the activities of the Police Command, while emphasising that community collaboration remains critical to achieving a safer environment.

Among the distinguished traditional stakeholders present were Oba Mobadenle Oyekan of Ilado, Chairman of the Amuwo-Odofin Council of Obas and Traditional Chiefs and Onilado of Ilado Kingdom, as well as Oba Ofori of Ibeshe and other traditional and community leaders.

Also in attendance was Chief Oludare Adesope, President of the Odua People’s Congress Reformed, who reaffirmed the commitment of the organisation to supporting security efforts across the Southwest, particularly in Amuwo-Odofin, and working collaboratively with the Police to tackle criminality.

The gathering provided an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss security challenges, strengthen community-police cooperation, promote intelligence sharing and reinforce the collective responsibility required to protect lives and property.

And there sat Moses Olarewaju — calm, attentive and fully engaged.
