Moses Olarewaju, Folorunso Ola Western Honour Late Tunde Koleola at Service of Songs

The sudden demise of Tunde Koleola has continued to evoke deep grief across the progressive family in Amuwo Odofin, with party faithful mourning the loss of a committed member and colleague.

In a profound demonstration of solidarity, compassion and the enduring spirit of brotherhood within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward K, Amuwo Odofin, Moses Olarewaju, APC Candidate for the House of Representatives, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, and Folorunso Ola Western, APC Candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1, attended the Service of Songs held in honour of the late Tunde Koleola.

The candidates were warmly received by Olayori Lawal, APC Chairman of Ward K, Amuwo Odofin, alongside the Councillor representing the Ward, Hon. Egobi O. Daniel, as well as other party leaders, members and sympathisers who gathered to honour the memory of the deceased.

Also present was one of the Ward Leaders, Adm. Fadairo Olawunmi joined other progressive leaders and faithful in standing with the bereaved family during the solemn occasion.

Their collective presence was more than a ceremonial gesture. It was a powerful expression of empathy, unity and the conviction that the bonds of humanity must remain stronger than political differences. At a moment of grief, the progressive family stood together, reaffirming the importance of solidarity, compassion and brotherhood.

Moses Olarewaju and Folorunso Ola Western extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly the wife of the deceased, who is also a committed member of the APC. They acknowledged the profound pain occasioned by the loss and prayed that Almighty God would grant the family the strength, comfort and grace to endure this difficult period.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to reflect on the transient nature of life. The leaders admonished party members to remain conscious of the fact that beyond political aspirations and affiliations lies a greater responsibility to humanity. They emphasised that humanity, compassion and genuine concern for one another must remain at the heart of politics and public service.

They further encouraged members of the progressive family to preserve the spirit of unity and collective responsibility that binds the party together, noting that the true strength of any political organisation is demonstrated not only in moments of victory, but also in its willingness to stand firmly with its members during moments of grief and adversity.

The Service of Songs therefore became not only an occasion to mourn the passing of late Tunde Koleola, but also a poignant reminder of the enduring bonds of fellowship, unity and humanity within the APC family in Ward K and beyond.

They prayed that Almighty God forgive the shortcomings of late Tunde Koleola, grant his soul eternal rest, and give his family, friends, associates, party leaders and the entire progressive family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May the soul of late Tunde Koleola rest in perfect peace, and may Almighty God grant his family divine comfort, strength and consolation.
The solemn Service of Songs was conducted by Winners Chapel (Living Faith Church) and was well attended by members of the church, alongside family members, friends, associates, party leaders, members and sympathisers who gathered to honour and celebrate the life of the deceased.
