Moses Olarewaju, Folorunso Ola Western Honour Late Tunde Koleola at Service of Songs

The sudden demise of Tunde Koleola has continued to evoke grief across the progressive family in Amuwo Odofin, with party faithful mourning the loss of a committed member and colleague.

In a demonstration of solidarity, compassion and the enduring spirit of brotherhood within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Moses Olarewaju, APC Candidate for the House of Representatives, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, and Folorunso Ola Western, APC Candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1, attended the Service of Songs held in honour of the deceased.

Their presence at the solemn gathering was a profound expression of sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, particularly the wife of the deceased, who is also a committed member of the APC. It underscored their belief that the bonds of humanity and fellowship must transcend political activities and remain strong, especially during moments of grief.

During the service, the two candidates conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the family, acknowledging the pain and emptiness created by the passing of their loved one. They prayed for divine comfort, strength and fortitude for the family as they come to terms with the irreparable loss.

Moses Olarewaju and Folorunso Ola Western also used the occasion to remind members of the progressive family that the mortality of man should inspire greater compassion, humility and unity. They emphasised that humanity must remain at the centre of politics and public service, and that party members should continue to support and stand by one another irrespective of political differences.

They described the gathering as a poignant reminder that beyond political affiliations and ambitions, there exists a greater bond of humanity that should unite everyone. They therefore encouraged members of the APC family to continue nurturing the culture of togetherness, mutual respect and genuine concern for one another.

They prayed that Almighty God forgive the shortcomings of late Tunde Koleola, grant his soul eternal rest, and give his family, friends, associates and the entire progressive family the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
