The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, said Nigeria was too strong and resilient to be cowed by insurgents.
She said this on Saturday when she met with members of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council at the Government House, Ado-Ekiti.
The First Lady expressed confidence that the security challenges facing the country would soon be overcome.
She said the President is still committed to tackling insecurity in the country and is working round the clock for lasting peace.
She acknowledged the support Nigeria continues to get from foreign partners to combat security threats, expressing optimism that the situation would improve substantially in the near future.
“Nigerians are too great to be cowed by insurgents. Let’s keep hoping and praying for the nation.
“God would not forsake the country in its effort to surmount its challenges,” she said.
