ONE AMUWO GOSPEL FESTIVAL: WHEN PRAISE ROSE LIKE A VOLCANO AND AMUWO ODOFIN CAME ALIVE

The One Amuwo Gospel Festival may have arrived quietly, but it erupted with the force of a volcano, unleashing an electrifying atmosphere of worship, gratitude and spiritual renewal that swept through Amuwo Odofin.

It was an evening when music became prayer, praise became thanksgiving, and the atmosphere seemed charged with the unmistakable feeling that prayers were ascending to heaven and answers were already finding their way into the hearts of the faithful.

At the centre of the celebration was Moses Olarewaju, the All Progressives Congress Candidate, who raised his voice in profound gratitude to Almighty God for His blessings upon Amuwo Odofin and for the peace, progress and development being witnessed across the Local Government.

The festival also attracted an impressive gathering of distinguished personalities from the political and social landscape of Lagos.

Among the notable dignitaries present were Most Distinguished Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, former Minister of State for Defence; Prince Lanre Sanusi and his beautiful wife; Alhaja Memunat Ajao; Alhaji Okunnu; Alhaji Ahmed Ambrose; Chief Yinka Akanni; Mrs. E.A. Francis; Hon. Sunday Adedeji; Chief Zacheous Olayemi; Hon. Sultan Adeniji Adele; Adm. Fadairo Olawunmi Jamiu, MCIA; and Hon. Gbenga Oyerinde, Commissioner for Special Duties to the Governor of Lagos State.

Then came the music.

The gospel ministers took the gathering beyond ordinary entertainment, transforming the venue into an arena of worship. Every melody carried a message, every rhythm stirred the soul, and every song seemed to connect earth with heaven.

And when MC Totori took control of the microphone, the atmosphere became even more electrifying. True to his reputation as a master of ceremonies, he commanded the stage with remarkable energy, keeping the congregation engaged while the rhythm of praise reverberated through the grounds.

The atmosphere was so powerful that it seemed as though heaven could feel the rhythm and melody of God’s children, while the ground itself responded to the joyful expressions of worship.

Beyond politics, beyond campaigns and beyond party lines, the One Amuwo Gospel Festival became a celebration of faith, unity, gratitude and hope.

For Amuwo Odofin, it was more than a gospel concert. It was a declaration that the community is stepping into a new season—a season of greater peace, development, unity and divine favour.

Amuwo Odofin has arrived.

The light has been ignited.

The spark of faith is burning brighter.

And with God at the centre of the journey, the people of Amuwo Odofin look towards the future with renewed confidence, believing that victory, progress and greater possibilities are within reach for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress.
