The United States says it has gone 15 straight months without a single illegal migrant crossing into the country and has expelled more than three million foreigners since President Donald Trump took office again.

The claims were made in a fact sheet seen on the White House website Wednesday that outlines actions the administration says were taken to restore the country’s immigration system.

“President Trump has kept his promise to fix the immigration system, put American citizens first and protect U.S. citizenship,” the White House said.

In his first week back in office, Trump signed an executive order declaring a crisis at the southern border and taking immediate action to end what he described as the Biden administration’s “record-shattering illegal immigration” into the US.

’We have not released any illegal aliens into the country for 15 months straight.

“The Trump administration has deported more than 3 million illegal aliens, including thousands convicted of violent crimes,” it said.

The administration also said it had launched a “denaturalization surge” against people who acquired U.S. citizenship fraudulently, saying it had filed cases against 88 people who received citizenship but were allegedly ineligible.

It said that more than 1.4 million undocumented migrants who had been improperly receiving public assistance had their taxpayer-funded benefits terminated and had been barred from more than a dozen taxpayer-funded healthcare programs.

On visa restrictions, the White House stated the administration had “strengthened visa programs and their screenings and paused visa processing for 75 high-risk countries to protect the homeland and deter overstays.”

It also said the administration had tried to remove tens of thousands of undocumented migrants from the voter rolls in several states and was working to make sure they could not vote in US elections, a right it said was reserved for Americans.

The administration also said it had reformed the citizenship test to better assess applicants’ understanding of American history, government and values and to ensure they met all eligibility requirements.

It also cited two new executive orders signed on August 6, 2026, that seek to end birth tourism and clarify categories of children who are not eligible for birthright citizenship in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Trump v. Barbara.
