Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has shared a very personal story about her past romantic engagement, in which she spent six months giving her ex-boyfriend half of her earnings.
This disclosure follows well-known fashion designer Veeke James’s heartbreaking account of being manipulated by her ex-partner and her motivational road to recovery.
According to Sarah Martins, this upsetting event has corrupted her once-charitable personality and made her wary of developing close emotional bonds with people.
She emphasized that she needs to get the same level of support in order to be willing to help a partner.
“I gave my ex 50% of my monthly salary for six months, and the werey was giving the money to another woman🤦🏻♀️,” she writes in her post.
