*HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A LOYAL CAPTAIN-IN-WAITING — HE DR. OBAFEMI HAMZAT*

Today, we celebrate not just a birthday, but a legacy of loyalty, stewardship and statesmanship. His Excellency, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, stands tall as a consummate technocrat, a man of uncommon intellect, deep administrative depth, and sterling qualities as a leader whose brilliance has illuminated governance in our Centre of Excellence. He is that rare breed of public servant whose words are matched by wisdom, and whose service is defined by substance.

For eight unbroken years as Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Hamzat has epitomized what trusted loyalty truly means. In an era where ambition often breeds discord, his unwavering allegiance to his principal forged a strong bond, a robust and cordial relationship that became the stabilizing anchor for the progressive family. That synergy — built on mutual respect, fidelity to party ideals, and fidelity to the people — helped steady the ship of Lagos State through turbulent waters, engendering verifiable, visible and veracious development across the State of Aquatic Splendour.

As you add another glorious year, we pray that Almighty God grants you greater grace, sound health and renewed vision. May your aspiration to steer the ship of Lagos State as Captain from 2027 find divine favour and popular mandate. The future beckons, and Lagos awaits the continuity of progress in the trusted hands of a tested loyalist.

*_Happy Birthday, Your Excellency!_*
