Davita Lamai, the partner of Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile, has disclosed that the singer relied on another person to obtain her phone number because he was too shy to ask her directly.

She made the revelation in the couple’s wedding film as they prepare to celebrate their marriage on October 24, 2026.

Davita said Zlatan’s inability to approach her personally was surprising, considering the confident image he presents to the public.

“He was just to get my number. He asked somebody, like he’s very shy, like very, very. People will not believe it,” she said.
