I Don’t Have The Capacity For That – Timini Egbuson Speaks On Womanizing, Dating Multiple Women

Nollywood star Timini Egbuson has spoken about the challenges of balancing his acting career with his personal life, denying claims that he is a womaniser and revealing that work often leaves him with little time for dating.

The actor made the disclosure during an appearance on the Culture League podcast, where he discussed how his public image differs from his experiences away from the cameras.

Timini said people frequently assume that he is constantly involved with women. However, he explained that the reality of his life over the past two to three years has been dominated by acting commitments.

According to him, the Nigerian film industry has become so demanding that he rarely has enough time or energy to pursue multiple relationships.

He explained that he often spends the entire day filming and returns home as late as 11 p.m., exhausted from work.

“A lot of people assume that I’m a womaniser, right? But I’m not. In the past two, three years, Nollywood has taken over my life in a way that there’s no room,” he said.

The actor also expressed amazement at how some of his friends reportedly manage to maintain relationships with several women despite their busy schedules.

While some of his friends have four or five women they are involved with, Timini said he finds it difficult to understand how they create time for such relationships after their daily responsibilities.

He insisted that he is not as active in dating as people might think and said the demands of his career have significantly influenced his lifestyle.

Despite sometimes feeling alone, the actor said he enjoys his professional journey. He disclosed that he occasionally drinks a shot of Martell to unwind when preparing to sleep alone.

Timini also reflected on the realities of getting older, noting that age can affect the number of potential partners available to someone, regardless of how youthful they appear.

His comments highlight the less visible side of celebrity life, where professional success can come with personal compromises.

By addressing the rumours surrounding his love life, Timini sought to clarify that his busy schedule, rather than a constant pursuit of women, largely explains his current relationship experiences.
